About Me:
I am a multimedia journalist and storyteller. I’m passionate about new technology and how it enhances reporting. I work as an online producer for USA TODAY in Washington D.C. Before Gannett, I freelanced with CNN.com (ranked No. 1 among all news and information sites in several key metrics) in the multimedia/interactive storytelling department. I produced slideshows, interactives, maps, and galleries. Prior to working as a producer, I interned in the CNN Newsroom helping shows integrate web elements such as blog comments and iReports with daily news programming.
I have my M.S. in multimedia journalism and my bachelors in mass communications with a concentration in broadcast production.
In addition to journalism my passion lies in music, traveling, cooking, and acquiring too many shoes. I’ve lived in three different cities: Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Richmond.
